Potting Compound
GMX‑8152 Series Thermally Conductive & Insulating Potting Compound

Application Procedure
Preparation: Prior to use, stir Component A and Component B thoroughly and separately. Surfaces to be potted shall be cleaned with anhydrous ethanol, acetone or equivalent solvents.
Weighing: Weigh Component A and Component B at weight mixing ratio of 1:1.
Mixing: Mix the two‑part compound fully. Special glue mixing equipment (e.g. small‑size planetary mixer) is recommended. For manual mixing, scrape the bottom and side walls of mixing container.
Degassing: Carry out vacuum degassing with dedicated potting equipment. Alternatively, place mixed compound together with its container into vacuum defoaming device for vacuum treatment.
During vacuum defoaming, liquid level may rise to 3‑4 times original volume before bubble collapse. Maintain vacuum for 4‑6 minutes after foam collapses, then release vacuum.
Potting and Curing: Pour well‑mixed compound into components for potting. Allow natural curing at room temperature; heating is acceptable to accelerate curing process.
