Instructions for Use
First weigh components A and B according to the ratio, then mix evenly (uniform color is sufficient); degas under reduced pressure in vacuum (≥700mmHg) for about 10 min; after releasing the vacuum, potting or casting can be carried out; after standing at room temperature for 12h or by heating, it can cure into a rubber elastomer.
Precautions
◇ During vacuum degassing, the volume of the compound will expand 2-3 times, so an appropriate container should be used to prevent the compound from overflowing during degassing;
◇ Heating can accelerate the curing speed of the silicone rubber, but it also increases the linear shrinkage rate (the higher the curing temperature, the greater the linear shrinkage). Therefore, when making precision products, it is recommended to cure at room temperature or avoid high-temperature curing; if high-temperature rapid curing is required, the linear shrinkage should be taken into account;
◇ The length of the working time of the silicone rubber is related to the ambient temperature: the higher the temperature, the shorter the working time, and vice versa;
◇ The operating procedure should be completed within the specified working time;
◇ Before curing, this product should avoid contact with unsaturated hydrocarbon plasticizers, flux residues, and organic compounds containing amine, phosphorus, sulfur, sulfone, arsenic, or organotin; otherwise, the silicone rubber may cure incompletely or even fail to cure. Therefore, before using this product, it is recommended to first conduct a compatibility test between the silicone rubber and the substrate;
