Instructions for Use
◇ Mixing: Weigh the compound according to the mixing ratio. Thoroughly mix the two components, being careful to scrape the bottom and side walls of the mixing container.
◇ Degassing: To ensure that no bubble defects remain in the cured rubber, place the mixed compound together with its container in a vacuum degassing device and degas under vacuum. During vacuum degassing, the liquid level of the mixture may rise to 3-4 times the original volume before the bubbles automatically collapse. After the bubbles have collapsed, maintain the vacuum for 4-6 minutes, then release the vacuum.
◇ Large-part impression molding: Brush the compound by hand onto the surface of the sample to be impressed and reinforce with gauze. After the first layer gels, brush a second layer and reinforce with gauze, continuing until the compound layer has sufficient thickness. After natural curing at room temperature, demold.
◇ Small-part molding: Fix the sample with its smooth side facing down at the bottom of a container, then pour the prepared compound into the container until the sample is completely submerged and covered by about 1cm. Then allow it to cure naturally at room temperature for 24 hours before demolding. To prevent damage to sharp shapes, gauze can be dipped into the compound and wrapped around the sharp shape for reinforcement.
