Instructions for Use

Components A and B of the liquid silicone rubber are fed from the reserve tanks of the injection equipment, mixed by a static mixer at the mixing ratio, and injected into the molding mold. The pot life of the mixed A and B components at room temperature (25℃) depends on the ambient temperature; a rise in temperature will shorten the pot life.

If the injection molding equipment is shut down for a long time, the compound remaining in the mixing section (static mixer) should be cleaned out promptly, or the mixing section (static mixer) should be removed and stored sealed in a low-temperature environment (below -10℃).

Potting and Curing:

The products in this series can cure rapidly under heating conditions. The curing time depends on the size of the part. For applications where heat can be transferred quickly to reach the set temperature, the curing time at 120℃ is only 10 minutes. For larger parts, sufficient consideration should be given to the time required for heat transfer. The time needed for cooling and demolding also depends on the size of the part and the temperature selected for the curing process.
